Washington DC Rooftop Wedding: Natasha + Brian

Posted by admin in Wedding photography

Over a cup of honey and tea, Natasha told me she and Brian met while working and sailing around the world on a cruise ship. How fabulous is that?  Can you begin to fathom working and traveling around the world for months at a time, seeing beautiful islands and exploring countries with your significant other before tying the knot?

Natasha is a petite, sweet and bubbly gal.  I could see why Brian was in love and wanted to marry this super cute aerialist and dancer.

Natasha’s mom was her matron of honor. However, she was much more than that, she helped to coordinate their wedding timeline so that it went down without a hitch. Everything happened like clockwork from start to finish.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington DC.  After the ceremony the limo driver took the bridal party to Union Station for their portraits.  The architecture at Union Station is absolutely stunning!   After the portraits we went to The Flying Bridge, a rooftop venue overlooking Union Station and the U.S. Capitol. The view was ahhhmaaaazing!!!  Their live band, Nite Time, entertained the guests and had everyone on the rooftop dancing the night away.  I had an awesome time photographing their beautifully decked out reception!  Thank you Natasha and Brian for the honor of capturing the special moments of your wedding day.  I wish you much love and joy always.  Lastly, thank you to your sweet and beautiful mom for thinking about me and including me in the limo rides so I did not have to navigate DC on my own!  xoxo-Amy
